A longtime construction industry professional, Eric Hymowitz started ROC Homes in 2002. As the owner and president, he took care of the daily needs of the company by doing everything: purchasing, accounting, and management. He still manages the daily activities of the company as its president today. Eric Hymowitz is also involved in many efforts to fight cancer, as he lost his cousin to pancreatic cancer in 2018.

It was difficult for Mr. Hymowitz to lose his cousin because of cancer. However, it was also the beginning of his involvement with the Pancreatic Cancer Network. Since the death of his cousin, Mr. Hymowitz and his staff at ROC Homes decided to be regular donors to the Pancreatic Cancer Network, hoping that someday a cure for pancreatic cancer would be discovered.

In addition to the Pancreatic Cancer Network, Mr. Hymowitz is also helping the Sunshine Kids, a nonprofit that takes care of children with serious illnesses, including cancer. He decided to support Sunshine Kids because the organization is important to one of his employees. He also said that by giving to the Sunshine Kids, the children will able “to take part in fun activities.”
